I was referred to Dr. Doctora by Aspen Dental of Columbia, TN. They definitely gave a great referral! Dr. Doctora is very knowledgeable, professional, effective and reasonable. Barely felt sedation, then he immediately went to work and extracted two teeth in record time! He is very pleasant and caring and listens to his patient; qualities that everyone wants in their dentist. He was direct, forthcoming with me and I really appreciate his honesty. He makes post-op calls to ensure that his patient is progressing in the healing process. He is truly a doctor that shows concern from the beginning to the end of the process. Dr. Doctora is amazing! I was originally referred to him from Dr. Minyard for an extraction and I hesitated at first because it was an additional hour drive to get to his Spring Hill office. I am so glad I went to him instead of someone closer. I was in severe pain, he got me in quickly, and he took excellent care of me! His staff, at both locations, are nice and make you feel at ease. They are great at working you in if you have a tight schedule! Both locations are clean and inviting! Dr. Doctora is extremely knowledgeable, personable and does amazing work! He even calls to check on his patients HIMSELF! I have recommended him since my first visit, and I will continue to do so!
Dr Doctora is an amazing Doctor!! My experience with him and his staff was exceptional!! I have always been terrified of dentist and would do anything to avoid my appointments, Although Dr Doctora made me feel at ease. I had a white spot on the roof of my mouth that he wanted to biopsy just to make sure it wasn't anything. He assured me that it was most likely nothing and not to worry about anything..and he would call me as soon as he got the results. He did as he said, he personally called which I thought was so thoughtful, and of course I was still kinda scared to hear the results.. Everything was as he thought.. Nothing..
I have to say by far Dr. Joseph Doctora is the best Oral Maxillofacial surgeon in the mid-state. The first experience I had with DR. Doctora was about ten years ago when I came in to have a molar extracted. I had a warm welcome which put me at ease. Once I was in the operatory chair DR. Doctora went over my other options and the pros and cons of why it would be best to try to repair the tooth. i had no insurance or spare money at the time so i explained that the pain was just too much so he said he understood and proceeded with the extraction. i went back about nine months later to have another molar extracted. Now ten years later I'm studying to be a Dental assistant and requested to be placed in his office so that I could have him mentor me. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know .
This doctor is awesome. He made me feel very comfortable in a time of great pain. The staff is great and he even calls and check on you. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs oral surgery. He is the BEST!
