Their gas station offers respectable gas prices. Aside from the Kroger card 3 cent discount, or additional discounts from grocery purchases, their gas prices are still better than most.. though the cheapest will always be Murphy's by an average of 8 to 10 cents. Regardless, if you shop Kroger, their gas will be much lower with discounts taken into consideration.
I’m relocating from Texas and visited this location which is near my new address. The store is clean and produce fresh. However, the guy in fish department name “Taylor” was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I asked for a whole salmon to be filet and skinned and he brought me back one piece of filet salmon with skin on and said that he was not able to skin the entire fish. I looked puzzled based on his no tolerance expression and refused the fish. He snatched the fished from the counter that he had wrapped and tossed in trash, then took it out of trash and placed in open fridge bin for sell. I will never shop that department again. Very unsanitary and scary.
Fruit prices have gone up quite a bit, but so has everyone's with the season's change. The quality of fruit is also of a fairly high standard given the limited supply of select products through winter.
It's an alright place to shop. There's always Kroger card discounts for every type of product that seems to share a rotation with most brands. They upped the quality of their meat to be more on par with Publix.. which, if I'm being honest, Publix has fallen significantly in the past year in terms of the higher end cuts such as the Filet Mignon, Porterhouse, etc. Kroger has always been a few dollars a pound cheaper than the competitor.
Go to the lot to get your own cart. Bag your own groceries and the out of stocks are extreme.
Convenient location close to many. Service staff is helpful. I don't know about all Krogers, but this one is open 24 hours, which comes in handy for emergencies.
Good store, good staff, good merchandise, very good prices. It definitely a good store to have on this side of town. That girl Genevive deserves a raise though.
