They closed down the locate closest to me, made me drive 40 minutes to the nearest one to cancel my membership. Tells me when I get there at 11:40am that I'll have to wait till 12pm to cancel during the "cancellation hours" while the guy sits on his computer next to me then proceeds to make me pay $30 (a month of my membership plus a fee for cancelling) to get it cancelled....did I meant that THEY CLOSED the location that was closest to me??? 40 minutes isn't exactly convenient or local!! After reading the other reviews on here i wouldnt be surprise if i still have another charge on my account from them next month, well see!!
Been a member here for multiple years, local management sucks, they repeatedly hire young adults that do not have the professionalism or maturity for the job. Examples, mens tanning bulbs out, as in burnt out, not replaced, sauna broke, not fixed, tv's on machines, never work, batteries in remotes dead/missing. This has been like this for years. Machines broke, not repaired for 6mos. I'm in the parking lot waiting right now because somebody called in and they could not get anyone to open the gym. 2.5 hours past open time and they can't get in touch with the "manager". Get it together ya'll!
Joined after being unable to work out at the crowded Williamson county Rec Dept facility. Staff extremely friendly and facility is HUGE with Nautilus, Hammer machines, and more free weights and dumbbells than I have seen anywhere. Price is amazing if you pay up front.
AVOID THIS GYM! I signed up for a 2-year contract. After about a year, I had to stop going. I was well within the contract terms to cancel my membership with a cancellation fee and they refused to do so. Because I did not want them putting the extra amount as a debt on my credit report, I decided to pay every month until my contract was paid in full and expired. After my contract was expired, and I confirmed with them months before it was expired that they would not charge my card after the expiration date, they continued to charge my card. I talked to Daniel, the manager at the Spring Hill facility, and he confirmed that they were not supposed to charge my card and said that he issued a refund. A week later, I still don't have a refund. I called ASF Payment Solutions which is the company that handles their payments and they informed me that there was never a refund issued. ASF said that they were processing a refund and that I won't be charged anymore, but I'll believe it when I see it. Basically, the manager at the Spring Hill facility has been lying for over a week. I went ahead and filed a fraud claim with my bank. I am currently waiting on a phone call from Sean Barber, the owner of Olympus Athletic Club, to inform him of the situation. My advice would be to stay away from these scam artists. I have seen numerous reviews where Olympus has done the same thing to other people as they are doing to me. Not only are they scam artists, the facility is disgusting. If you are in the Spring Hill area, do yourself a favor and go to Spring Hill Fitness instead. It's a much nicer facility and the management team is a lot more professional. I'm not sure how Olympus can stay in business with an F rating from the Better Business Bureau and horrible reviews of basically scamming people out of money.
I have called multiple times to have them stop charging my account MONTHS after I cancelled my membership. They keep saying they will fix it and refund me and nothing has gotten done. They owe me $150 and counting. Yes that's not a lot of money, BUT I'm not willing to pay for a gym membership that is nowhere close to where I currently live, nor is it a place that I want to go. I. Want. My. Money. Back.
