Very impressed. We are new to the area and my dog needed his shots. Everyone is so nice. They took the time to go over the costs of the visit before we proceeded. The doctor took time to bond with my dog before she started her exam, I really liked that. I highly recommend this facility.
To add insult to injury, we took our Weimaraner in for his 12/23 appointment this morning and were informed that he did not have one and that if we would like to wait around they “will try to squeeze him in today.” Clearly, this service provider is no longer on a customer focused path. As result of this experience, we will no longer use or recommend All Pets Healthcare Center. And will be sharing this experience with others who also care about quality care for their family members.
We have been taking our pet Weimaraner to All Pets Healthcare Center since moving to the area over 6 years ago. On 12/9/17, we took him in for his annual visit including: general check-up, vaccinations and blood work. Additionally, we were asked to bring him back in for a follow-up visit so we scheduled an appointment for 12/13 at 10:30 am.
Dr. Adams email continued by providing options for treatment with an emphasis on the need for an ultrasound at a cost of $450. A second option was provided to use a supplement for 30-days at a cost of $125 (available on-line for $52) plus the cost of additional blood work (another $100). The approach used by Dr. Adams came across as being cold hearted and financially focused, which I cannot condone.
On the following Monday, my wife received an email from Dr. Adams that scared the heck out of her indicating that our pets blood work was abnormal and suggesting a level of urgency. Additionally, instead of making herself available to discuss the results and options, she asked that we email her with any questions. Previously, all results were provided via a phone call where we had an opportunity to speak with the doctor.
