P.S
We normally try to avoid chain restaurants, but we have at this location twice. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I still have cravings for the stuffed mushroom appetizer. This has made our list for a regular stop. A great place to take visiting guests.
Last night bartender Cayla didn’t serve the legendary Moscow mule with a fresh lime wedge. Even though I asked for one with my first drink she again didn’t serve it with my second. She never followed up to ask if we would like another drink when they were low, or if we would like to order an appetizer. She handed us the bill before we even finished our drinks. We had to pay and then after order more drinks and an appetizer. I think Cayla can’t work in a fast pace bar. She never took the time to even listen to my full order before walking away to the register. Also when she handed my a glass full of lime wedges she seemed to slam them down in front of us. Our food arrived and we had to ask for plates and forks. The guy working behind the bar seemed up to power and seemed friendly and pleasant. Our server at the table after was excellent and up to the usual LongHorn standard. Over cooked steaks were disappointing. However the lava cake made up for this. It was delicious. I would return. But next time I’d skip the bar
Originally I gave this place 5 stars when they opened up but they now seem to be suffering from the Spring Hill Syndrome. Meaning that every restaurant in Spring Hill is complete garbage. I wouldn't go that far with this place yet but they are heading that direction. The last few times my wife and I went, the fries are so salty that you can barely eat them and the steaks aren't seasoned. And don't bother telling them how you want it cooked because you won't get it. They seem to only know rare and very well done...there is no middle ground. I hate that this place has gone downhill because it was the only good place in Spring Hill to eat.
I’ve never given a 0 dollar tip in my life, but I did today. Came to Longhorn for the experience of a good steak restaurant, but got little in the ways of customer service etiquette. Our waiter came to our table a total of three times. The first to get our dinner orders, not bothering to offer appetizers. We had a board of empty bread when he took the order but he never bothered to offer to ask us if we would like more bread. It was only after purposely leaving my empty water cup to the edge of the table that he came over while we waited for our dinner order. He still didn’t offer bread so I had to ask him for some. While we are eating the meals, he didn’t come over a single time, to ask how it was or if we needed anything. After delivering the food, he left us, tending to the few tables in front of us. He passed by our table many times, and never bothered to ask how we were doing. If he had, I would have gotten more food, but we had already finished eating and wanted to leave. Good food, nice place to spend the evening, but overall poor customer service from our waiter Jonathan.
Everything was great....except for the steak. I got a 6 oz filet, no flavor and thin. Appetizers and bread were good. Good service from Taylor the waiter.
Spent the entire meal with our bread plates on the table, and after we had finished eating and got the check, our waiter still hadn’t bothered to take a single plate off the table, or at the very least, stack them. Had to move plates around just to sign the check. ((Refer to picture))
