I have no earthly idea how this Waffle House can claim to be open 24 hours when I went at 1 am on December 28th, 2017 to eat and they had locked the doors with a hand written sign on it saying “CLOSED. SORRY”. There were 2 women inside and one of them, a middle aged white woman with brown and grey hair yelled at me through the glass, “We’re closed, dammit. Isn’t that what the sign said?” I am a regular customer at this Waffle House. Completely unprofessional behavior.
Placed a to-go order. Had to ask for it after 5 families came in, sat down, ate, paid, and left. And still had to wait. Service is atrocious. Asked to speak to the manager. I don't think the person they sent was the manager (based on what the nice, old lady who sat next to me said). Their excuse, it's hectic. I understand that, totally get it, but that was uncalled for. The lady that took the order was just hem-hawing in the back, not a care on the world. I would give it zero stars except for the lady they had greeting. She was awesome! The rest...don't bother.
Being a chain, they have to go above and beyond to get a perfect review. This one is perfectly normal and is exactly what I expect from every Waffle House; Decent food, decent service, decent prices, in a clean environment. It delivers.
They are like my second family. They are friendly,caring professionals who go out of their way to make dinning with them special.
My family of three ate here this morning. The entire staff was working like clock work under the direction of a phenomenal cook, Frank! We sat at the high top table and I could see everything. Everyone made a perfect impression and the food was spot on. Friendly, respectful and great delivery! Thanks
